Fictional product concept

SignalBoard

See the path. An analytics concept film: website, product and billing events join into one customer journey, then a request typed in plain words filters it.

The brief

Show the whole journey, then make it easy to ask.

The film earns its one idea in two moves: the joined-up journey, then a question in plain words.

Product
Analytics that joins website, product and billing events into one customer journey. A made-up product; every figure is sample data.
The question it answers
How do website visits turn into paying customers?
What the film shows
Three sources connect. 12,000 visits become 2,400 trials and 480 paid customers. Then Ask Signal turns Show paid customers into a filter.
What it does not promise
Revenue, uplift or a better conversion rate. The trend on the result card is illustrative.

One story, three formats

Reflowed for every frame, playing in sync.

The square and vertical versions are recomposed so the action and the type stay readable. Here all three run on one clock.

Landscape1920 × 1080
Square1080 × 1080
Vertical1080 × 1920

Craft

The sound is drawn from the same clock as the picture.

Every keystroke, tick and swish lands on the frame it belongs to, and the typing sits at a level you can feel without noticing.

30seconds, one continuous story
112sound cues synthesized and placed from the film's clock
3formats from one story: landscape, square and vertical
60frames per second in every format

Production notes

How it was made

Concept film for a fictional product. Directed by Eric Moore. Built in code. Music is AI-generated; most sound effects are made in code.

Ivory, teal and copper; the interface, the journey chart and the query card are all drawn in code. The cropped formats fade their edges into their own ground so no shot shows a hard seam.

SignalBoard is invented. Its numbers are sample data, and the film claims no customer or commercial result.
